Vegas { part3 }

Up and at em getting our day started

While visiting with Trevor Brazile at the MGM GACTV came up and wanted the Farmer and I to do an interview with Trevor and they wanted us to do the asking of the questions. WHAT?

Well needless to say we made TV we were on Inside the NFR of GAC

The kids watched it the next nite when it aired and thought it is was neat.

My surprise to the Farmer: I planned Anniversary Date Nite al by myself and he had not a clue what or where until we got there. It was so much fun planning.

After Dinner we went to PeepShow. I must say that it was not at all what you are thinking! I really enjoyed it and is so funny! We laughed almost the whole time. Josh can sing like no other. So much better than what I expected. Holly Madison was on vacation so Angel was filling in for her but I didnt mind because I love Angel.

After the show we scored it Lucky and got to meet her. We had the same purse it was funny because we didnt want to get them mixed up. HaHa

Vegas { part2 }

We were so excited that Starbucks was in our hotel and you can bet we hit them up every morning. Down side to that is we are currently having withdrawals! Cowboy Christmas is a huge venue where there are about 100 or more booths set up from jewelry, clothing, boots, hats, baby stuff, handbags, rodeo gear, and many more. We shopped there most of the day, I could have went really crazy. I will be saving all year long so I can go crazy next year.

Im a huge Texas Women reality TV show fan and look who I came across....Hurricane Hannah

She was my favorite on the show so it was fun to actually meet her. Guess what? They just wrapped up season #2 so I cant wait! Team Hannah

OMG I know Im short but man she was a giant wish I could loose this 5 feet even and get her height! LOL

Who doesnt love a Cooper and especially Tuf? He is so sweet and I love the fact that he is a man of God and is proud and wants to share his word so all of his shirts have Jesus on the collar. 

Ok I thought I was small but this little precious thing is tiny. Chandler Bounds is one of the Farmers favorite and he got Rookie of the Year. I told him congrats on winning a round and he said thanks and I hope to do it again....guess what? He won it that night and when I saw him at the Gold Buckle ceremony he said I told you I was going to. LOL His cute little girl friend has mad style!

Sherri Cervi..whoot whoot she is such a great barrel racer and animal lover. Fun to chat with and her horse Stingray is a one of a kind! She did amazing in the finals.

Shane Hancey is a Louisiana boy who is a HUGE LSU fan and even got a mohawk to prove his love. Fun to chat with until he found out I was living in Louisiana and pulling for Bama. LOL he wrote Geaux Tigers on the bottom. HaHa thae Farmer loved it though

Gold Buckle Ceremony

After each nite of the Rodeo they had a Gold Buckle Ceremony at the South Pointe

Where they handed the winners of that nite a Gold Buckle. It was so much fun to attend.

Sherrri Cervi won the Barrel Racing Event

 Chandler Bounds won the bull riding event after being stepped on in the rear he was walking a little crippled. If you notice the old man beside him is Mr. Clyde Frost ( Lane Frost's Daddy) For those of you not fimaliar with Lane Frost you might know him by the movie 8 seconds.

I told you his girlfriend had mad style!

Vegas { part 1 }

We arrived at the airport to find that our flights were scheduled on time so we were thankful. After checking in we noticed that a delay was on schedule for our flights due to weather so we were delayed 2 hours and were thinking we were going to miss our Dallas to Vegas flight. As we got on the plane the pilot said he was going to do some heavy duty flying to make the Dallas connecting flight and he wasnt lying! We made it from MLU to DWF in 45 minutes.

When we landed it was so late we just grabbed a bite to eat at our hotel and called it a nite.

We walked to the Bellagio and had breakfast there. This was my favorite hotel in Vegas. The Christmas Room is amazing! Here are a few pics.

After breakfast and viewing the Christmas room we went to the Convetion center to attend the Cowboy Christmas. Once we were all shopped out we decided to go get ready for the rodeo.

The real reason we chose Vegas... Nation Finals Rodeo! We are already planning our trip for next year but are bringing the kids. The rodeo and the whole week was amazing, we met so many interesting people and got to rub elbows with a few of our favorites.

Aniversary of a Lifetime...

The Farmer and I aren't extravagant gifts people and especially with the children coming along we no longer go all out when it comes to gifts for each other. But this year being our 10 year Anniversary we did just that. the Farmer has always been in love with Buckskin  horses but they have all been to pricey or just plain crazy. In Forth Worth TX they had a Superior Livestock auction and this beauty came available. He is precious and very loving. Needless to say the Farmer has a new love!

The farmer wasn't the only one with a little something, he had been listening. I didn't want a band when we first got married I had small and short fingers and thought I didn't want one. But as they years went on I started thinking different. He did an amazing job of picking it out all by himself, I don't think I could have done better! I love it!!!

To finish it all...the moment I have been anxiously waiting for.....We leave come Monday!

We will not be back until Dec 11th so I figured I would be taking a small break until December 19th or so. 

So until then see ya on the flip side!  Will miss ya peeps!!!
