Its been 11 years

As a result of a careless mistake this sweet precious angel was taken from me 11 years ago today. We were sisters ans stuck together like glue and all that changed in one simple hour from the last time I talked to her. So as a reminder please dont drink and drive or let friends drink and drive because 9 times out of 10 the drunk driver doesnt die its the victim who looses their life.

I don't  know where or how to start this and before I say much more this might be a lengthy post but I feel like I needed to put this all out and let lets get encouraged and know how important it is to not let the seconds in the day go by without living like it is your last because because isn't promised. I still have to work on that because at times when Im having a wild day I often tend to treat it like its the end of the world when I should be appreciative of what the Lord is doing and Im not seeing at the moment. Now with that being said lets move on.

July 1, 2001 LeighAnn was killed when a Drunk Driver who was also on 5 other unprescribed drugs crossed into the other lane and killed her. LeighAnn was a rare ray of sunshine and anyone and everyone who knew or met her loved her. She was always smiling. She had a way of making you day with that smile. I would say she is a year younger than me and she would say no I'm 364 days younger than you. Her birthday is the day before mine so we joke about that all the time.  LeighAnn and I met in 7th grade were BFF's instanlty. I am so thankful God let me have what little time he did with her and my life will forever be changed.

In memory of her and to let other in on her story her family has made a website for her 10 year Anniversary.  leelee11.com   I think they did a wonderful job and know she would be so honored. So Today is all about you my Angel. Happy Birthday Girl!!!!!!
