We have some friends who farm but have now started doing Sweet Corn too.
Its some of the best sweet corn we have ever tasted. Each year when it is ready they will call and we load up and grab a few bags of corn to put into the freezer.
We got 3 bags and in each bag were 60 ears so that's 180 total

We start by cutting off the ends of it then remove the husk and all the silks or hair as the kids call it.
Then we will wash it under running water and the wrap each piece into a piece of foil then into a freezer gallon zip lock. Some people put it up like they get it and then have to remove everything before cooking but I would rather do it all at once and not have to worry with it. Then when I need it I can grab it from the bag unwrap the foil and pop into boiling water.
