Its my confession

I know it is not Sunday but for some reason it didn't post on Sunday so no better time like the present

1.  If nutella was a diet food I would look like Kate Moss on drugs kind of skinny

2. I love tattoos I'm always fascinated with them. I could seriously be covered in them and yet I have zero. I know what I want... the anchor infinity symbol

3. I cant understand all these people who stick with their spouse when infidelity happens. I know myself and I could never do it... If you cheat it you best believe you better beat it. Here lately there has been several couples getting busted and they are all "working it out" F that shit! Kids or no kids no way. Do your kids a favor and show them you have respect for yourself and will not allow anyone to disrespect you!!!

4. I would probably go crazy without all you wonderful bloggers I love reading your blogs and finding out I'm not as crazy as I thought because there are a few I think to myself.. that trick is 2 sandwiches short of a picnic

5. but then real life hits and I realize yes I'm just as crazy

6. I always said that there would be no way in hell I would turn into a gym rat and now look I cant stay away. Momma always said "Never say Never" Its just like it my thing. I hope and pray it stays like that.

7. I never have cash the Farmer gets mad but I cant keep cash to save my life all the while he ALWAYS has cash. and I never have gas in my car when he gets in and that also drives him bonkers

8. The last half of last year I was a ragging crazy lunatic! I was unorganized my ADD was out of control which led to my kids way beyond out of whack it was a mess. I hit 30 and went into a deep dark depression. I'm still depressed I turned 30 hurry up 31

9. Im an ebay and etsy -aholic   they are just so darn tempting you can find anything and everything on there

10. I love material things alot but with that being said I hardly ever pay full price for them 80% of the time. If I cant find them for a good deal then I turn to my trusty faithful ebay and then when that doesn't work is usually when I pay the real deal. It may look like I have alot but I only paid a little and I'm not ashamed about it one bit. I love a good deal

Be sure and check out this awesome

My Memories & Give Away

I was contacted through My Memories to do a review on their digital scrapbook software. I used to scrapbook all the time and it was so exhausting buying paper and cutouts and having all the tools I needed to manually scrapbook and with 3 kids I need easy. We know if you want it super cute it will take forever doing it the hard old way. This was right up my alley being that I need to catch up but never did because I dred the time it took to do it right. Now there is a better way and I am so impressed with it.
Here is a video to start off with

Now see how easy this program is and how fun. I cant wait to have more time to play with this and improve as I simply was so busy I just quickly threw these pictures and pages together and look how cute they are. I was rushed so I threw both pages together in literally 2 minutes top. Now if that aint quick I dont know what it. How simple and easy is this? Check out the 2 pages I made

Now that you have seen how fun and simple this is you can have this for yourself and make so many things. I will be putting together so many things and as I do I will update on the blog and keep you posted.
Here is the best part:
They are also being so kind and giving away a My Memories Suite to one of you Lucky readers and don't fret if you don't win they are going to give you 10.00 off for your purchase of My Memories. Isnt that awesome heck yeah that is.
The GiveAway winner will be announced Friday Feb 1st

Whats going wrong?

I have gained over 20 pounds last year and I simply cant do this anymore. I keep saying I'm going to do something about this and I do good for one day or so but then life happens and I give up. This time I vow to not be a quitter and now I cant quit because I've told all of you I'm not quitter right? Damn straight! I didn't quiet know what to do or how to do it and when I started getting friend request on MyFitnessPal I knew I couldn't let them see me be a quitter or a cheat. So that when my brain starting going and I thought what can and should I do about this I have no clothes that fit.
I want to buy bigger clothes.....says no one ever!
With me blogging about it and making a point to blog about my progress each Friday I have no choice but do well I mean how bad would it suck to have to blog about gaining weight.
I started last Friday and thought about doing a link up with 2 cool chicks but I found out that a linkup very similar to this has just got started and I didn't want to interfere with that link up. I knew I didn't have anything going on all this week in the morning so I could hit the workout hard and go all 5 days. I live an hour away from town and I knew I had to go Tuesday but schedules to go after my workout because remember I'm becoming dedicated!
I'm making a deal with myself that if I keep it up until Easter I can go on a little Spring and Summer shopping spree. I'm not buying any clothing item until then that is my deal and Ive got to stick with it. I love rewards and find it better when I give my self one. It motivates me! I found this cute little number and wanted it for Easter and it was a pre-order it will not be shipped until late Feb so instead of ordering it in a 8-12 I ordered it in a 4-6 and Ive got to get in it my goal.

I knew I had to do something about being more active and since I'm an exercise hater I thought I would start slow and work my way up instead of jumping all in. I have had some days where I was ok with going to the gym and I have had days where it sucks ass and I cried the whole time I was there. But yesterday while do the Elliptical I realized I could only go slow when I first started and now my speed was doubled. It pumped me up so I cant wait to see what my future holds in the Gym-Workout world. I found that this Polar Watch. It tells my time, heart rate and how many calories Ive burned and for me it has been the only thing that has motivated me to workout.
Polar FT4 Heart Rate Monitor Watch
My workout routine I go after I drop my kidos off to school and I try to go all 5 days. I mostly start on the elliptical and do the whole 30 minutes and the 5 minute cool down then I move onto the machines or weights for 30 minutes. I recently got this workout off Pinterest and have started doing it 2 days a week.
Pinned Image
I'm in the process of finding more and Ive pinned alot but Ive got to choose a lower body workout routine. My arms and thighs are the areas that bother me the most so those are what I want to focus on. I have a flat booty so I need some junk in my trunk so looking for a good booty builder.
The hardest part about making healthy changes to my life has been my eating I'm a picky eater and I love fast food, junk food, Dr Pepper and bread. So there is a heart attack waiting to happen. Ive got to change my eating and my portions. When there is french fries or bread in front of me I eat and eat and eat until over stuffed. I am willing to make a change to my eating habits but I'm still not going to do without. I'm just going to enter my MyFitnessPal and if I have enough calories then I will and if not then I will work harder and hopefully get to have it the next day. Why couldn't the good Lord make us all a size 0? I know I know I'm looking at new healthier recipes that the whole family can enjoy and I will not have to make separate meals because lets face it...ain't nobody got time for that!

Getting it together Food style

My New Years resolution is to be on top of my game. {Yes the Farmer will like this one and I can ever hear some kind of kinky remark because he goes there alot and I mean alot, that just him being romantic. Some girls get flowers, chocolates, love letters Im the lucky one who get kinky comments}I feel as if last year I wasnt and my life was all out of whack. I dont like the feeling of being overwhelmed every single day. I have OCD and part of my OCD tendencies besides being organized is Im a planned I like to plan ahead of time way in advance as of right now Ive got Valentines figured out and working on Easter. I finally feel normal I havent felt like this in over a year. How did I get off track I dont know but I can tell ya I dont ever want to go back!
With all this being said part of my "Staying Ontop" includes making my life easier and on those crazy unplanned days to have a backup plan. I think that by adding extra casseroles, soups, and ect to the freezer it will be a great start. My girl P-Dub hooked me right on up. I made her Spaghetti Sauce and divided it up and popped them in the Freezer so on a day when Im not going to have time time cook or things dont go as planned I can grab it out of the Freezer boil noodles and wa-la I have a meal.

I have also been buying storage bins and ziplock bags and going crazy and labeling and storing everything I can get my hands on in them. Im trying to teach the kids to put things back where you found them when you are done playing with it and if not then they have to do one cleaning chore for me. We will see how this works but its a work in progress. Chore charts and money dont work so manual labor will hopefully do the trick.
I have also made Chicken Enchiladas and made extra so I could add them to the Freezer stockpile. Im trying to make and add to the Freezer once a week and hope thats makes a big difference.

Also dont forget to get your questions emailed in for my Q&A, I am going to to call you out or get offended at any question Im an open book.

Orphan Update

I have extremely good new to report...Both little orphan calves are doing great and one of them is no longer an Orphan.

The bull calf that was doing the worse has come around and making improvement every day. When we went out to check on them and feed them both a bottle he wouldn't take a bottle and so we tried to get him up and move him around and watch him walk to see how he was doing and to our surprise he walked right on up to his Momma and started sucking. We were so happy because this means it gets better quality milk.

 This is our bull Woody {Rhett named him..ToyStory addict}
He is peeping in to see how is son is

He is loving getting him some titty milk
He sucks every morning and afternoon and is walking around just fine. In about a week if things still are going this well and Im sure it will then we will let both the calf and mom out of the stall and into the pasture.

Her Momma is wanting to mess with this calf but this little cutie pie don't really like cows she loves people.
So it looks like bottle for her.
My Sister in Law came over to take a peek at these lil suckers and we quickly put her to work.
She was right in there and loved every minute of it.
This little girl so so hyper she will jump and buck and follow you everywhere.
We weighed both of these calves and I cant remember for sure but they were both in the high 60s
I wish we would of weighed them when they were first born like we do all the others but we didnt' want to stress them anymore than they already were.
She was jumping out she was a handful to get weighed
Thats a wrap for their check up I will continue to update and thanks for all the concerns and nice comments. It means alot to our family.

Quick Little Notes
1. Im going to do a fun little Q&A so if there is anything and I do mean anything...Im an open book please feel free to email me the question and I will do a Q&A day blog post. Don't worry Im not going to put your name by the question.

2. I've also been contacted and am hosting a GiveAway coming up

3. Im also partnering with 2 cool gals ands working on a link up

When it rains it pours Calves

When it it freezing and the rain sets in while in calving season it isn't pleasant at all. In the South we usually don't get snow and hardly ice but when we do it is bad. While coming home from taking the kids to school and the gym it started looking like this. When I got home the Farmer needed me to help move the cow heard up to some dryer pasture due to it raining non stop almost 10 inches.

He had stopped by a Farm Supply store and got us rain slicker suits so we headed to the Farm office and put them on. Thank goodness for the fireplace in here it made it cozy. He also got me a pair of Muck Boots that came in handy in all this freezing wet nasty junk.
As you can See he got a pretty rain suit while.....

Mine not so much...It looks like the cheap camo look which I HATE he said that is why he got me this color because he knew I hated it so badly. Isn't that love? He just loves me to pieces! Under all this garb I had on a pair of thick lounge pants and sweatshirt and Drake Bibs with the Drake Jacket to go on top of all that plus this ugly rain suit and gloves. Everything but my feet were freezing those Muck boots should make clothing because they were so warm.

We are off trying to get this baby calf and mom to this dryer pasture and while she is right by its side now she will not have anything to do with it once we moved it. If we didn't move it then it would of died from the freezing cold so its a damn if you do damn if you don't situation.

Maci came to help get them to the barn so we could offer some milk to the calf being it hasn't sucked and wont even try. I don't even know if the mom would even let it.

We took her in to get we dried off and bring her temp back up.
She was so cold and weak from shivering. The kids were a big help in this process.
I love having a huge Laundry room and this is a reason why.

After the towel we used the blow dryer and got her completely dry

From the we knew it was time to feed her.
We knew she was to weak to even try to suck a bottle so we tube fed her
and made sure she got colostrum.
As you can see that colostrum made a big difference and she is up and bellaring loud.
With her doing so good we took her and put her into a stall in our barn for the night.

The next day while doing ranch work we made another discovery that we had another calf born and it was pouring ice down and we knew this lil man need to be brought in and warm back up. He wasn't doing so hot and we worked with him the rest of the day. We found him at 12:30 and at 8:00pm he was barely moving and wouldn't pick up his head or make a loud sound and was so weak his eyes would begin to roll back. The Farmer and I kept looking at each other and thinking how much longer because we knew he probably wouldn't make it but we don't give up. We kept at it and tube fed him also we knew he needed every little but he could get. Around 8:15 he made a tiny progress and so we put him in the bathroom and I wen to work on Google and I came across Severe Hypothermia. How did I miss this? Yes he has this and that is why he is like this. I knew then that he was going to be okay as soon as his brain cells got warm. It takes a long time and sometimes even days. We put a small electric heater in the bathroom with him shut the door and around 3am we checked on him and he was so alert and our hearts melted. The downside was now he has the no fun runs. I cant clean up puke or I puke and I went to gagging and that's when I knew I couldn't do it so the Farmer was on his on. I did hand him paper towels and Clorox wipes. We got back up at 6 and same thing so we threw the calf in the shower washed him off and got him back dry and nice and warm and took him to a stall in the barn back with his mom. His mom is having alot to do with him now but calf is still a little weak. We are tube feeding him and going to try to bottle feed him this afternoon.

This is him so weak and almost lifeless it saddens my heart.

This is at 3am as you can see he is picking up his head and more alert. Thanks goodness
We still have a long way to go and the fight isn't over by no means but thankful things looks better than they did.

Parenting at Best

I came across the most Powerful thing besides the Bible I will ever read.
Desiree @ The 36th Avenue wrote this post and I cant put into words how powerful and what an imprint this left on my heart. This couldnt have came at a better time as this year for me is all about Staying Ontop. These 10 things are so simple yet I find myself guilty of not doing enough of. If this is not a wake up call I dont know what is. This is the perfect post in my opinion

10 Things Children Will Always Remember

By ·

I am sharing with you today 10 things that I will never forget.
I come from a childhood packed with millions of sweet memories surrounded by family,
friends, and people that understood what love is.
It is amazing to me that most things I remember from those days make me smile and happy,
considering that we had really little money, a lot of empty stomachs and much reason to pray for help.
I had a wonderful childhood not because of the things we had but because we had each other.
This post is about creating sweet moments that our children will always remember.
1
READ TO THEM
It is a beautiful thing to read with a child but there is a magic when you read to a child.
Books create a world where everyone that is reading becomes a part of it.
No matter how old a child is, read to him, read to her, read to them, read with them.
Let’s give our children the gift to grow up saying…
My parents always read to me.
2
LISTEN TO THEM
In a busy crazy world it is so easy to say wait a second.
The reality is that the wait is never a second, it is not a minute,
sometimes the waiting moment is so long that it never comes.
Sometimes by the time we are ready to listen, our children have forgotten what they wanted to say.
I have noticed that children most of the time instead of trying to convey a thought just want to share a moment.
For them what they have to say is not as near as important as for you and I making them a priority.
The key to listen is to STOP.
Instead of telling our children “wait a second”, we should tell whatever we are doing “ wait a second”.
The TV won’t get hurt, the computer won’t forget, Facebook won’t miss you or me,
but OUR CHILDREN WILL.
Let’s give our children the gift to grow up saying…
My parents always listened to what I had to say.
3
HUG THEM
The thing is that no matter how small or big we are sometimes we all need a hug.
Every child is different, some of them will welcome a big hug,
some of them have more than enough with a little one.
The important part is not to miss the times when affection is needed.
Now that one of my kiddos is approaching the teen years I offer hugs in a different way.
Instead of saying Do you need a hug?, I say I need a hug.
Hugs are a symbol not just of love but of reassurance, happiness and protection.
Let’s give our children the gift to grow up saying…
My parents always knew when I needed a hug.
4
Have Family Traditions!
One of our family favorite traditions is Movie Night.
Most of the time we have them on Friday. We get to make popcorn, eat nothing healthy
and everyone gets to watch a movie together as a family.
It is more than a movie really.
This is a time of tradition building, we get to fight over the popcorn,
we get to laugh at someone’s fart, we get to share every corner of our bed and blankets,
we get to be a family when for 2 hours we don’t share just the same space, but the same memory.
Let’s give our children the gift of growing up saying…
In my family we always did this and that!
5
Share a meal!
This is something I treasure from my life living back at home.
I don’t recall one time when I didn’t eat dinner with my parents.
Even after it was just my mom and me I don’t recall a time when I didn’t have dinner with her.
If I tell you the truth I didn’t know one kid that didn’t have dinner with their family.
I never realized how big of a blessing this was in my life until I moved to the United States.
Time goes so fast here, cooking is a luxury to many of us because the lack of time.
Sitting around a table sometimes seems like a huge challenge because of how busy we are and different schedules.
As I look at it it doesn’t matter if our children are eating hot dogs, cold cereal or a delicious homemade roast.
The best treat a child will have is the memory of sharing a meal.
For some may be breakfast, for some luch or dinner.
This is the perfect time to talk, plan, rest, eat, work together and clean up together.
Let’s give our children the gift of growing up saying…
In my family we ate together!
6
You are my favorite!
I always knew I was my mom’s favorite 10 year old,
15 year old, and right now I know I am her favorite 37 year old.
We should not have a favorite son or daughter among our children,
but I can tell you that I certainly have a favorite 9 year old boy and I am honored to call him my son.
I have a favorite 12 year old, a favorite 10 year old, and a favorite 4 year old, and I am honored to call them my daughters.
I think it is super important for every child to feel special in an individual way.
printable source
Let’s give our children the gift of growing up saying…
In my family we were our parent’s favorites!
7
Celebrate!
Again every child is different. Their accomplishments will be different.
Some of them at age 6 may read better than another one at age 9.
Some of them will be great in sports while some other seems to have allergies to a ball.
Some of them will be honor students while some other ones may need additional tutoring.
However, every child shares a common quality, they all need to feel successful,
no matter how different the accomplishment, the celebration should be equal.
Let’s give our children the gift of growing up saying…
My parent believed in me,
they were my biggest fans, they always told me
how proud they were of me.
8
Play!
Children have naturally playful souls.
Providing an environment where family plays and have fun together is not an option, for us it is a must.
Find something that your family will enjoy.
Board games, hiking, fishing, camping, playing sports, biking, reading, whatching a movie,
any activity that provides a quality family fun time will unite our children while making memories that they will never forget.
Let’s give our children the gift of growing up saying…
In my family we spent time together, we had fun together, we played together.
9
REMEMBER!
Yes… I’ve been there and I’ve done that!
Our children lives are made of little moments.
Those moments many times are highlighted by events… Oh crap!
School assemblies, birthdays, rehearsals, sport competitions, parent teacher conferences.
Those moments are special to them mostly because they feel and believe that they are special to us.
When we remember those moments, when we show up, when we take with pride those pictures,
and wave with excitement, when our children see that we remember, they seem to never forget.
Let’s give our children the gift of growing up saying…
My parents were always there for me.
10
LOVE THEM!
I could be writing until tomorrow but I think I’m going to end with this simple word: LOVE
My grandpa told me once that love is made of love.
He was a very wise man.
Now that I have kind of grown up I know what he meant.
We cannot say we love someone and then ignore them.
We cannot say that we love someone and then neglect them.
When we love we say it.
When we love we show it.
When we love we build up those around us, we don’t destroy them.
When we love we offer guidance and positive reassurance instead of cruel criticism and fake devotion.
When we love a child, we build their character, we wish and hope for the best.
We make them feel unique, we inspire them to discover their infinite potential,
we guide them, we teach them and we learn from them.
We thank them, we pray for them,
because LOVE is made of LOVE.
In conclusion…
Memories are not free, however they don’t cost money but time and that is what makes them so valuable.
We can build them around the most simple moments.
It is for us to make each moment count, no matter our circumstances, our past,
or how much or how little we have, we can create a place called home
when every child is entitled to a beautiful childhood.
So let’s imagine a moment and create a memory!
Thank you for visiting with me today.
Happy Sunday My Friends!

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Last year while we were in Vegas I spotted blue you know the only color blue that makes you light up and even though you didn't even go in just seeing the color puts peace in your heart. I knew right at that very moment I was destined to own piece of my very own. I had already spent way to much and said to myself I was going to go home save and order it but when I got home ands saved I hoped right online and went to plucking away and something wasn't right..... this isn't what I want I want to be Aubrey Hepburn and walk in and purchase it so that's what I was going to do. So as soon as we got to Vegas I made it very clear that before we left I was going in and conquering my mission. Two days before we left it was time and I have never been so excited I waled in so slowly taking every moment in. I knew exactly what I was getting but I had to do it the right way I walked around looking and admiring every single piece and then when I came across what I went in after I stopped and took a deep breath smiled and got that bad boy! I just checked that off my BucketList and even better than I imagined. Now I cant wait to fil it with charms while I was there I already picked out a few

What is it about these colors that send me over the edge? Im madly in love with these colors. It just gives me peace and happiness.
