#acktdoesNYC our last day

We woke up to a drizzly dreary day but that wasn't going to stop us. With a 5$ umbrella we went on our way. We started on Times Square to do some shopping. Their forever21 was 4 stories and organized and the workers were so helpful I wish our Forever21 was like that. If so I would actually like going to ours.

We stopped in Buddy's Bakery

I wish I could of taken one of the scrumptious cakes back home with me.

Took 40 million pictures at the Starbuck on their Starbucks cam.
We couldn't figure out where to stand or when it was going to take the picture.

This is where the ball drop on New Years Eve.

Trying to take a group selfie and realizing we should of bought a selfie stick so we could properly take a better selfie.

My kids would love their toys r us
It was also 4 stories

Guy's American Kitchen & Bar is what we hit up for lunch and it was so good.

Does this look yummy or what
It def was one of the best burgers around

Resting my piglets before walking the Brooklyn Bridge

We here Brooklyn

On the bridge overlooking the traffic

Even though we were to full from lunch and couldn't try Waffles & Dings I still got a picture.

Wall Street
The Bull is what I wanted to see while in New York

Then we headed over to Battery Park to take a peek at the Boss Lady herself

That night we made a quick change headed out to Broadway
We all knew we wanted to see wicked

I was worried how I would do I am not a singing play kind of person.
If they would just talk I could of taken it better but all that damn singing I was checked out after hour number 2.

Our Dinner reservation at Carmines was at 10:30pm so while I was checked out of Wicked and didn't realize it was over a 3 hour play Tiff and I headed to Carmines to grab our table while the other 2 stayed and finished.

Its now 11:30pm and we are like OMG how do people eat this late?
Its so packed glad we had our reservation.
This place was highly recommended and I now know why.

Their food is served family style so one plate will feed 4/5 people.
This food so amazing but sadley we couldn't eat all of it.

Now it is around 1am and we had to pack up to head back home. This trip was so much fun and I am now counting my days until I can come back. I love this place!

New York Day 1 #acktdoesNYC

Alarm goes off at 3:45am so we could make our 6am flight. I got ready and my SIL picked me up so Nick could use my car for the kids. Whew here we go we are on our way....Getting excited!!!
On our road she came to an almost stop and let the 2 baby deer go in front of us then as we were taking back off we see a huge buck and then here a big thump, bang, kabooom. We knew he hit us.....
What the what?????? OMG did this just really happen? One look at the car and oh yes yes it did.
So we grabbed my car threw the bags in and away we hurried all while still in shock over what had just happened. We didn't look for the deer we had to hurry, later on that day the men sent this picture.

Meanwhile we texted the girls and let them beg the airline don't leave with out us if we are late. Nope we made it on time. Now lets get this show on the road. As we go to check in computer shut down and that put us even more late. Once going through security of course we would get stopped and have to check bags 4 times and finally figured out it was my hormone shots that was alarming them but once checked they were approved like I knew they would be and we home alone ran to our gate all while the door was beginning to be shut and the crew anxiously ticked at us. I kindly explained it wasn't my fault it was Security and the computer.
This simply means we killed an 8 point buck on opening day and made our 6am flight...
Damn we are good!

We get to DFW grab us a bite to eat and head to our gate to realize that it had changed and had to go all the way around. After running up to the gate the lady rudely told us the doors had been closed and we had plenty of time to have made it being our flight had landed over and hour ago we tried to explain to her that the gate change got us off so she told us she would open it up and to run but we had to site where we could find because she gave our seats away. We ran through hopped on the plane to find it almost empty so we got some really good seats.
I mean is this really happening? I fly every year sometimes twice a year and had never had this kind of luck. All we could do was laugh and then wonder if we should just fly back home but joked we might miss that flight too. So we just laughed and wondered what was in store for us in NYC.

We made it to Newark airport around 2pm and then headed to find a taxi

At our hotel waiting for all of our luggage and wondering where we were going to put all of it since we were sharing a room. 4 girls so that means alot of stuff

the view from our hotel room window overlooking Times Square and The New York Times

We were hungry so we took the Subway

Its not at all what I thought. It was hot and muggy and it smelled horrid

We rode the Subway and didn't get blown up by Isis...
see Boo I told you. But I love that you care so sweet

I always wanted to grab something and eat it off one of the vendors but after the smell I just couldn't do it. Next time I will take a food truck tour in Greenwich village.

This was the apple store you walk into the glass case and go down the stairs

Patsy's Pizzeria  was hands down the best pizza place ever. I could have ate there every day we were there. Its safe to say I ate enough food there to live off of for the week.

We ordered the sausage calzone, sausage & pepperoni pizza, chicken alfredo, and pepperoni pizza
Yum just looking at this makes me want to check into mail delivery service for this place.

Dylan's Candy Bar was right around the corner so we stopped in and tried some fudge that was so delicious and grabbed a few candy bars for our kidos.

Took a carriage ride through central park
Sorry for the blurry picture our driver couldn't figure it out.

FAO Schwarz....holy moly I cant believe I'm here.

As a huge Home Alone movie person I knew I had to stop by The Plaza

the foyer

Mauri Laken is an Eloise at the Plaza fan so I had to stop in.

Mauri would love this. How cute, fun, and sweet is this?

After venturing all around The Plaza for over an hour we knew it was around 11pm and we had to be up at 5am the next morning for Kelly & Michael so we hopped in a Taxi and went back to the hotel.
