DietBet Starts today

Skinny Meg  is hosting a DietBet and what a great way to get motivated to loose the weight I've put on, 22 pounds to be exact. The DietBet she is hosting is to loose consists of putting 25.00 in the pot and you have 4 weeks to loose 4% of your body weight. At the end of the 4 weeks all of those that have reached loosing the 4% will split the pot. If not then there goes your money. So this means I am going to have to loose  5.88 pounds so I will make it an even 6 pounds. I am going to try my hardest to loose the 6 pounds and win some coins for my New York trip.

Here is an example of the app to give you an idea of what it looks like

I am really hood at workout out and keep a consistent workout schedule. It's the eating that is my biggest struggle. If I could ever get that in control I know I could shred the pounds. Since the workout part is easy for me I'm going to take these four weeks and focus on every single thing I put into my mouth. I am going to still workout like I always doing but not really worry about my workouts. Its going to be hard trying to find stuff to eat healthy on the go due to our softball schedule. I think I am going to try bringing a small cooler with some healthy snacks and food choices. I am really good with not drinking my calories so with drinking unsweet tea and water I am good with. I'm such a picky eater that this is going to be the biggest challenge but I sick and tired of not being able to fit into my clothes. So here I go.....let it begin....I'm ready

Fergie told me to

This is it! I need to blow this up into a wall size poster and read it everyday.
Up in the Gym working on my Fitness
For the last school year I would workout faithfully and then get so discouraged when nothing would happen. Now that I know it was all my hormones that was off that was causing no results I'm now on the road to getting those back to normal so I have no excuses not to workout and eat healthy anymore. It was a losing cause and now that I don't have that excuse anymore I've got to get it together and get back in the gym faithfully and clean up my eating crap habits. Being summer and my gym doesn't have a place for kids I have to find someone to watch them and then drop them off. I've been also letting that be my excuse too even though I know my MIL and Mamaw will watch them no problem.

We all need a good kick in the a** sometimes!

I feel so much better and productive after I exercise.
Before and during I HATE it but after is the best feeling.
As of today I'm fueling my motivation and starting to create my habit back.
Get fit.

When I see all these amazing women who have worked so hard and lost over 50-100lbs I'm always in amazement of these strong women. They inspire me more than they know. One of my very favorites who each day wows me is FabChickGetsFit. To see her changing body has been so inspiring and she also admits to the days she just isn't in it or the days she has ate something bad and then she always comes back with something like I've ate like crap today so what keep it moving and pick right up where she was the next day back working hard and shedding the pounds and her body is banging seeing her have hard days and mess up just proves to me that we all don't love this all the time but the results we will all love. If you are not following her you would benefit yourself by doing so.

I know that making the decision to stop making excuses and getting back on track is going to help my mentally and physically. I have decided not to make bug goals because they seem so far off that achieving them is impossible but I choose to start small and work my way up. I'm going to start in 5lbs increments. Once I reach those I will reward myself with some shopping money for NYC then move on to another 5lbs and so on. I'm going back to using my fitness pal and a water app to make sure I'm getting in my water needs. If  you have a myfitnesspal hit me up: herrington5
Hold me accountable I need a good kick start and I know this process isn't going to be easy but it will be worth it. There will be days I hate it and days I love it, days I cry, days I smile, days I'm lazy and don't want to and days that I'm on top of it. I've just got to be committed and keep at it.
East Coast Queen

I'm always in need of extra motivation or inspiration
Anyone have a diet bet going on or fixing to start?
Health or loosing it link ups?
Workout routines that have worked for you?

And I'm sorry but those wraps are just like lipo.... they come right back if you don't continue to do them. I've tried them both. I want something long term not temporary.
However I'm thinking about trying the hair, skin, and nails. Since I've had to cut off all my hair due to my Thyroids and Hormones damaging it and breaking off. I'm in a rush for it to grow. I've been taking Biotin for about 4 months and I really don't see anything.

A little help

With May already being here and I have been in a getting skinny don't care rut I figured this would be exactly what I need to get my self back in gear. So I am linking up with Erin and Kristin
for the 4 week fit challenge. I have no desire lately to workout of eat clean. But at the end of the month when I am putting on the bathing suit I know I will regret it. So here I go getting it right getting it tight.

Goals:
1. Start back using my fitness pal
when I use it I can see exactly where I am with my calories and what Im eating

2. Drink at least 64oz of water
I'm just not a drinker I could go all do on half that and be fine, so while this is easy to some it is going to be my toughest goal

3. Work it out 4-5 times a week
I have been at school teaching a lot lately so therefor I haven't been to the gym. On the days that I am at school I will get some kind of exercise in after

4. Stick to a 90/10 eating plan
eat good 90precent of the time and I can have crap 10 percent of the time

It starts now!

November Goals

Last week was I didn't workout as hard as I should and I didn't eat clean or even 50% clean and I can tell I never thought I would be able to tell how I felt by my eating but it is so true when I eat like shit I feel like shit. I couldn't work out hard or long because I was just not feeling it and it was all due to my eating. So this brings me to:
November Goals:

1. Eat as clean as I can even on Thanksgiving. I am limiting my cheat meal to Sunday because we have family Dinner every Sunday with the In Laws and Grandmother and Sister in Law. We all take turns cooking on Sundays. I will let myself eat a little of something bad but I have to remember to cheat in portion control. Just because I choose to cheat doesn't mean I can eat whatever and how much. I am only allowing myself to only drink water and a few unsweet tea here and there.

...Eat Clean!!

2. Drink at least 70 ounces of water ever single day. This is very hard for me due to I'm not a big drinker. I only seem to drink when I eat so I have to make it a habit to always carry or have a bottle of water with me.
Water drink it in the mornings
3. Workout 4-5 times a week. I have been lifting weights and trying to work my way up heavy. I'm finding that I love it but my Cardio sucks. My SIL and I have been working out and have had a schedule
Monday: Lower body & Couch25k
Tuesday: Upper body, Cardio
Wednesday: Couch25k
Thursday: Lower body & Cardio
Friday: Upper body & Couch25k
I am always looking for new workouts. On upper body day I feel like I don't get a good workout as far as calories are involved I def don't burn enough to satisfy me so I on the hunt for an awesome arm workout that makes my arms on fire. I have been doing the Julian Michaels arm workout. I feel like I need to add more to it but don't know what.

Go work out! Learn one more way to achieve the summer bod that doesn't involve only crunches: http://fashmagsbypamm.blogspot.com/2013/06/theres-more-you-can-do-to-achieve-that.html

4. Couch25k I want to get off week 3. I cant get off week 3 to save my life. I have been running on a treadmill inside and recently started running outside and it is so much harder. I'm trying to get my mind right and finish week 3 its like I do good Monday and then Tuesday I struggle and Friday and I just cant finish the last 3 minutes of running or I stop in between and walk for a minute. Its a mental thing I know and my legs will only hurt for a little bit.
C25K - Couch to 5K Trainer FREE for Android
5. Loose at least 7lbs. I didn't want to set my goal at 5 because I feel like 5lbs is always water weight and I seem to loose 5lbs then gain it back I can never loose more than 5 so I am going for it and setting the bar high for me at 7lbs. I know you are not supposed to count weight only inches so I measure myself and will measure again once the month is over. I hope I loose inches in my wide hips
Loose weight for the big day!
There it is my November goals. I am more determined than I think I have been ever and I am blogging about it so I can be held accountable. I mean who want to blog at the end of the month about not meeting and of her goals, right?

Any good workouts or recipes I would love them

Inspire me again please

Dont forget to enter my 30th Birthday GiveAway

I have been doing so good until the Farmer got rained out and then my whole healthy eating consisted of Mexican and Margaritas on Friday and all kinds of tailgate food Saturday and of course good table spread after church and on Monday was filled with grilled favorites so needless to say I went from a total of 4 pounds loss back to 2 by Tuesday mornings weigh in. SO I knew I had to hit it and hit it really hard if I wanted to get back on track and I only have 2 weeks until my 30th Birthday weekend. So that means I need to loose a pound a day to get to where I want to be. Can you tell I believe in miracles?  I'm going to give it all Ive got these 2 weeks.
Ive changed my drinking habits to:

I even went and got a new pair of shoes and I know these cute babies are going to do the trick.
Who wants to run in ugly shoes? Not I
They also have the Breast cancer symbol on the tongue and give proceeds to that so it is a win win situation for me. Now when I run well I cant lie I mean walk I will feel like I'm doing it for a cause

I have been at it this week well 2 days I should say. Tuesday I walked 3 miles and biked 2, then yesterday I did an arm workout with weights and biked 2 miles and walked one but in my defense had to push a golf cart half a mile because someone forgot to charge it...kids! So I weighed and I have lost a pound so in total I'm 3 pounds lighter then when I started. I made a health widget to put on my blog to hold me accountable but I'm nervous because this weekend my Boo is turning 32 and you know that means good food. I'm going to really try hard or it may be my 10percent bad...

Inspire Me

Today I am linking up with Kristen and Raven

All In My Twenties

I have been saying for the last 6 months...or really year that I need to get healthy and well that bit me in tha ass because since January I have put on 15lbs actually 20 when it my monthly. I have never been 100% committed like I have been this week. I would usually diet here and there and never ever exercises. This week I have teamed up with my Mother n Law and after I drop kids off at school we get together and exercises we have done a 10 dance cardio video {really 10minutes on each body part...lying bish!}, walked 2.5 miles, zumba, lifting weights, and more fitness videos. I am committed see I told you. I thought I would like always hate it but I have enjoyed it and looked forward to working out. Food is my biggest problem being that I am a very picky eater. If it is healthy I hate it so i thought the best plan for me would be to stick with a high protein low fat diet which led me to the Adkins diets 80% and healthy 20%. My Dr Peppers and Sonic Sweet tea are gone I only drink coffee with trivia in the am and the rest of the day I have boring plain water. I'm not a flavored water person yuck! As far as food I have been using the heck out of my Traeger and grilling chicken and fish with grilled veggies well the only veggie I like are squash onion and zucchini. I bought Special K protein bars {yuck but i make myself swallow them} 100 calorie snacks, and nuts. I found my old Advocare stuff in my closet so since I was dedicated this time I decided to try it again and so far I'm loving it. I am doing the Catalysts, Fibo-trim, Spark energy drink, and Omegaplex. I have been sleeping so much better and even wake up easier than normal and to wake up easier is huge for me. I have more energy throughout the day.I have lost 2 pounds this week I think it is water weight but I am happy to loose and pound I can take.
I look forward to seeing every ones progress and I will take any tips I can get. I have been researching my tale off on nutrition. I am hoping to make this a lifestyle change instead of a diet for the week. Its alot of hard work but I'm challenging myself. At the end if I loose my goal weight I will them treat myself to a whole new closet lol

This is the picture that made me say:
O helllll No! Look at the big bish, who is she?
I honestly didn't recognize myself I knew I gained a few but not a full ton
They were talking about me on Wobble baby Wobble, big girl back it up
and the whole time I'm thinking its a random song

My goal is September 14th my 30th birthday and Ive got my mind right
Ill post then and do a before and after shot

In Love....

***Advocare Update:
This stuff is the Bomb dot Com!!!! I am in LOVE with this product!
Everyday before this I would always do ok through most of the day but then come 3:00 I would have
to put on another pot of coffee and still I would find myself dragging. Well not anymore thanks to this wonderful product. I no longer need another coffee and have more energy and on the go mood than ever.
This is a product that I can no longer live without.
I have to admit I haven't lost any weight but hey what do you expect when I'm eating cupcakes with cream cheese icing, Route 44 Sonic Sweet Tea with chili cheese tots, Taco Bell Nacho Belgrande minus the tomatoes add extra sour cream with Mountain Dew and all Pioneer Womans wonderful creations. If I changed my eating habit I know I would loose weight but right now I would like to loose 10 pounds but I want delicious food more. So until then I'm not changing my eating habits! Now, how do you like them apples...u know the apples that I'm not eating!
The next time I order I'm going to try the Mango Strawberry Spark.

THE ISSUE:
According to the U.S. Surgeon General’s report, overweight and obesity are associated with heart disease, certain cancers, type II diabetes, stroke, arthritis, breathing problems and other serious health issues. Obesity is directly related to 300,000 deaths each year in the United States and cuts across all ages, racial and ethnic groups, and genders.
A study by the National Center for Health Statistics revealed that 66 percent of adults in the U.S. or 133.6 million people are overweight or obese, with more than 31 percent in the obese category. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reported that by 2005-2006, the number of obese adults in the U.S. had increased to more than 33 percent, equating to more than 72 million people. Furthermore, excess abdominal fat has been linked to increased risk for metabolic syndrome.
Even more alarming is our children will follow our lead. Between 70-80 percent of obese teens go on to become obese adults. Unless measures are taken to reverse this trend, some experts are forecasting members of this generation may have shorter life spans.
THE SOLUTION: MNS® Max 3
The Director of the CDC recently reported the United States doesn’t rank in the top 10 for health among all nations. On one list it’s ranked 26th, on another, 47th. Due to our national health crisis, the CDC wants to remind the public that health care doesn’t only take place in a doctor’s office, clinic or hospital. The message is clear: Americans need to think more about how to prevent going to their doctor in the first place. Key points in any prevention plan include a varied schedule of exercise, a healthy diet and in many cases, nutritional support in the form of dietary supplements. AdvoCare can provide a total nutritional support package in the form of MNS Max 3.
MNS® Max 3 is our most comprehensive system yet! Not only will you benefit from appetite control, but you will receive the best core nutrition as we have added Amplify A.T., Calcium Plus and an additional OmegaPlex® to this system.* Max 3 also offers sustained-release energy, which means energy will last throughout the day.* And with approximately half the caffeine of MNS® Maximum Energy and MNS® Maximum Appetite Control, it is a fantastic alternative for anyone looking for a lower-caffeine solution.* For energy, appetite control and overall outstanding core nutrition and wellness, Max 3 is the answer.*

ActoTherm: Based on an exclusive blend of botanicals including cinnamon, gotu kola, ginger and peppermint, this time-honored AdvoCare original product has been reformulated. This new version features a sustained-release to aid in preventing a spike and drop-off of energy throughout the day.*
BioTherm: A unique weight-management aid developed by AdvoCare that combines oolong tea, effective botanicals and B vitamin, biotin, to support weight control.*
The synergistic combination of ingredients in BioTherm helps your body convert fat into energy.* biotin is also used by the body to facilitate the conversion of food to energy. It acts as a coenzyme in several metabolic reactions that aid in the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates and the conversion of amino acids from protein into energy.*
CorePlex®: Supplementation with an optimally-formulated multivitamin can help decrease the prevalence of insufficient vitamin and mineral levels in adults, improve their micro-nutrient status to levels associated with a reduced risk for chronic diseases, and improve their quality of life and ability to perform daily tasks.* CorePlex is an optimal formulation of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and trace elements needed by the body to promote and sustain long-term health and well being.* By combining this synergistic blend of 36 nutrients, CorePlex supports healthy bone structure and growth as well as provides optimum nutritional support for healthy muscle, connective tissue and skin.*
OmegaPlex®: OmegaPlex Omega-3 Fatty Acid Dietary Supplement is a safe, convenient and easy way to get the omega-3 fatty acids that may be missing in your diet. OmegaPlex contains a concentrate of at least 500mg long-chain omega-3 fatty acids, 300mg EPA and 200mg DHA. omega-3 fatty acids such as those present in OmegaPlex help support cardiovascular health in combination with a healthy diet and exercise.* These critically important oils even help regulate the body’s inflammatory processes, support healthy joints and are important for the maintenance of healthy skin.*
ProBiotic Restore™ ULTRA: Probiotics are beneficial microorganisms that confer health benefits on the host. Our bodies must maintain a healthy balance of beneficial bacteria and harmful bacteria to work at its best. When this balance is disturbed, it can have significant negative effects on our health including poor digestion and absorption of nutrients. Our immune systems are under daily assault from environmental factors, physical and emotional stress, inadequate rest and poor nutritional status. Additionally many individuals do not consume adequate dietary fiber, drink enough water or exercise regularly, which often results in occasional problems with elimination. Even though some individuals supplement their diets with probiotic products, all probiotics are not equal. The multi-strain probiotic complex in ProBiotic Restore ULTRA provides six high potency strains – three species of Lactobacillus and three species of Bifidobacterium. Two billion colony forming units (CFU) ensure full coverage of both the small and large intestines. ProBiotic Restore ULTRA helps replenish normal beneficial intestinal microflora to support healthy immune and intestinal function, while aiding good digestion and enhancing weight management programs.*
Calcium Plus: Bones and teeth need far more than calcium alone to stay strong and healthy. They need a balanced array of minerals including magnesium, manganese, zinc, copper, boron, silicon and potassium plus vitamins C, D, K and more. Calcium Plus is an incredibly effective way to ensure you receive enough calcium to keep bones and teeth strong and healthy.* Calcium Plus delivers two types of highly absorbable calcium, combined with other minerals, vitamins and botanicals.
Amplify A.T.: A revolutionary formula that combines two potent and unique natural ingredients that produce advanced nutritional benefits.* These two super-nutrients, astaxanthin and tocotrienols, are the real secret behind the power of Amplify A.T. For anyone who wants to fight the aging process, Amplify A.T. can help by strengthening the immune system, maintaining healthy blood pressure levels already in the normal range, and providing excellent nutrition for joint health and mobility.* It provides excellent support for skin too, by vitalizing the appearance of skin, helping to reduce the formation of wrinkles and maintaining healthy skin tone.* Its ability to help reduce muscle fatigue and muscle damage while enhancing muscle recovery provides an edge to any athlete.*

I totally love this product!!!!

Advocare

Does anyone know anything about Advocare? If so I want all the details..Are you currently on Advocare? Does sit work? What do you get? Lost weight? Does it give you energy? What about the energy drinks do they taste good? Do they make you feel like you are jumping out of your skin? I like the real details from real people instead of the advertisement ads. They may be all true but then again when it comes to selling you something they will say whatever. I just want everyday people to give me a heads up or heads down.
My Mother n Law is currently fixing to try it and I will get all the details from her as well. I'm not really sure what she is getting because this week has been really crazy but I'm going to get with her and see what all she is doing.
