Good golly alive my Baby is 5

I cant believe that is has been a whole 5 years since my lil Rhett man was born. Where has the time gone I thought since he was the baby I would take in every moment and savor it and make it pass by slower than the other two but sadly it went faster or thats how it seemed. I can remember the wild crazy day he was brought into this world. My premie has turned into a hoss and this Momma just dont like it. I love little babies I dont like kids!

He made it very clear for his birthday he wanted to go to a Saints came and Texas Stockyards. When I looked at the football schedule what would be the odds that the Saints would be playin the Cowboys at Cowboys stadium 3 days after his birthday? I knew it was meant to be.

We had a little family party and went out to eat to celebrate.

 

We are headed to Texas.....Peace Out

 

Since it was Rhetts birthday he loves Cattlemans so thats where we went for dinner to celebrate

Prairie Light in Grand Prairie had a drive through lights and we thought it would be so fun to take the kids. In Louisiana we dont have anything close to this. It brought back so many memories as my Moms borhter lived there before he passed away with cancer and we would love coming out to see him and doing so much becuase Texas is where its at!

 

You cant come to Texas and not eat any BBQ so we hit up this little jiont in the Stockyards

 

Everyday at 11:30am and 4pm they have a Cattledrive where all the cows walk down the Stockyards and Cowboys on horses with whips guide them as everyone stands on the sides and watch

 

I love my crew! I noticed that the Farmer looks like he is fixing to pitch a baseball or he knew I was taking picture so he thought he would give me a good ole view of the goods.

Either way I like it I love it I want some more of it! Well lets just be honest sometimes I do

They have a Rodeo kids town and I thought since Im fun size I would give it a try and let me tell ya its not easy. I need handlebars not reins. I thought I was going to flip.

They had so much fun and got so buck wild we have this picture to prove it

They will always remember this was there first bar to play pool in and their parents took them there and taught them how to play or tried to teach them how to play. 

 

Being I live no where close to the Heavenly place I have to stop its a must.

I was dying to get my hands on a red velvet one. As soon as I saw it my heart got all happy and I could already taste that hot piece of heaven but when I was handed my order I knew it went all kinds of wrong as I could feel my order wasnt even close to warm much less hot so I grabbed my red velvet doughnut and took a bite ive been dreaming about and I spit that mess out...This whole KK experience was Whack Jack and thats a Fact! I have never been so disappointed you just dont mess with a fat girl and her food thats a sin!

 

I dont know what it is but there is always something sexy about a man on a horse holding a rope.

Forgot to mention the day before we left I had to take Rhett to doctor and they said he has chicken pox but since he has had his vaccine he is not contagious due to the fact that his few bumps will not fester. I was in disbelief but reassured me and told me it was safe to go on with out trip. Wi9th that being said I didn't get very close to anyone except people that I didn't like or was rude I would push Rhett right on over to them. Whoops!

New Year, New Life, New GiveAway

2012 was one crazy hectic busy year and I felt like it flew right on by. I couldn't catch up to save my life and as things got crazier my life seemed like it was spiraling out of control. I have OCD overdrive tendencies and when things get out of whack I go into a sense of overwhelmed and then it all goes down hill from there. I am firm believer that an organized house is an organized mind and last year I was unorganized and loco. So with that being said I vowed to start this year off a different note. I went to my go to place Etsy and looked for planners and organizers and when I came across Happy Organized Life I know this was made just for me. From the name to the pretty colors and designs. I loved how I could have all of my stuff in one place and not have to go to different spots looking for things. I need a fresh new start so after going looking at the options I chose Mega Binder Editable Organization Set and I'm so very much in love with it.

I just love how it covers everything. There you have it my whole brain in this one Binder I know this is going to cut down on so much confusion and craziness.

Vegas & NFR 2012

WARNING: Long Post Ahead

 

Viva Las Vegas

We arrived and we are ready to hit the town but first we got crazy looks as we were headed to catch a cab. They all thought we were moving there...I mean hello a whole week in Vegas you just cant fit into 1 piece of luggage. The husbands thought we were overloaded but thankfully due to there half of a bag we were just fine. I know all yal girls know how we do. I even packed light because last year I over packed. I slimmed down to only 4 pieces this year.

 

The crazy cab people put us in this tiny car with all our luggage so we all had luggage everywhere. We could barley see, even the driver had to hold a piece HaHa

If they would have given us the van they wouldn't have this problem.

We all had a good laugh.

The next morning we woke up and headed over to the Hard Rock to grab some breakfast.

As a reality TV junkie I wanted to visit here because I seen it on The Real World

It was so good I knew right then and there we were going to eat there often.

Now it is time to head on over to Cowboy Christmas to get our shopping on

Being a veteran I knew I wasn't going to carry all those bags around so I brought along a suitcase to put it all in and push around. So much easier.

We had use of the hotels Limo all week since we were timeshare members and yes it was so nice not having to deal with cab drivers and catch the monorail. 

First stop... find Headbands

I converted my Sil over and now she loves them



 

We found the neatest horse

I volunteered Chirsti to take it for a ride and while she tested it out I think everyone must have been waiting for someone to check it out because they all started to gather around and take pictures

 

The guys had planned a date night and we had no idea what we were doing or going.

I mean we did figure to eat because that's what we love to do.

As soon as I saw this dress at KiKiLaRue I knew I had to have it and I didn't want to wear heels because I knew my feet couldn't take it Vegas is a feet hurter for sure so I took Raven advice and ordered these amazing Fergie Boots. You better go grab them they are on a huge sale I wish they were when I ordered them.

Delmonico Steakhouse  which is Emerils restaurant and it was the best food I have ever eaten.

 

After we ate we went to the MGM to listen to 

they are a new group who just signed a record deal and would be best described if you took
Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean and put them together you have LoCash Cowboys

They def know how to perform and keep a crown going we had the best time

Rodeo time because we all know that what it is all about

 I mean Tuf you can  put a ring on it anytime now.

Aren't they just Gorge I'm always checking in with them to see what they are trending

because they are always on top of things.

 

While I killed some time in between the Farmers Million Dollar bull watching I spot my favorite PRCA bull rider and his smoking wife Shane & Jesse Proctor. If it sound similar its because Jesse is the sister of PBR bull rider JB Mauney. I got to watch him win the world last year in Vegas so I was pumped that I actually got to meet him although I felt like I knew both of them because I watched their reality show. LoL

 

 Other than Rodeo what is a girl to do in Vegas?

This is where we first learned of the Newton CT devastation which broke my heart and I went straight into thinking about my kidos who I had to call. I will always remember just like 9/11

The Farmer didn't follow directions to well Where is his fish face?

 You know you are a fat girl when you get there early and make sure no one breaks in front of you in line know even if they did there is a seat for everyone. This was all of our selection and it was as good as it was last year

Doing a little shopping and wishing Santa thought I was good enough to add these to my bag

I guess there is always next year I was just happy to hold them it made my heart happy happy happy

While we waited for my favorite designers ever Gypsy Soule to start their fashion show I ran into my girl Cicily who makes some of my headbands and who is also on the reality show Texas Women 

After a long day and night...I knew I had a good nite by my face but don't remember this picture I just found it on my phone :}

Now we are back at the Hard Rock

 

 to check out Pink Taco and it was delish I would recommend it for sure from the food to the drinks

 While there we ran into PaulyD and even first pumped with him

 Drank way to many of these babies

 

Walking through Cowboy Christmas to grab a seat for another bucking bull thing I ran into:

Someone who I thought was Casey James but lucky for me Momma Ballou helped me out and quickly filled me in...Bucky Covington so I then we laughed the day away and the joke that I ran into Bucky James. Maybe Pink Taco wasn't a good idea, but on the bright side we had a good laugh.

Thank goodness I didn't day anything to him but it would of been funny if I did.

 

After Freshening up back at the hotel we headed over to the South Point to because that is where the nights rodeo round winners come to get the buckle

 

Cheese! we were ready to sip on some Pendleton Whisky and Let'er Buck

 

 to our surprise when we pulled up look who is right infront handing out free Christmas presents

You know this fat girl went straight to them and they were fresh and hot!

 After sipping down some beverages we thought it was a good idea to put some food in the belly and since we all heard that In and Out burger was the best we knew we had to try it....Not a god idea

It was horrible we all thought so we took 2 bites and all looked at each other and threw that junk in the trash where it belonged. I don't know if we just got a bad batch or what but it wasn't what I thought

 

After a very long fun and tiring week it was time to head back to the Delta
