Couples Shower

We hosted a Couples Shower for my Brother n Law and soon to be Sister n law who are getting married in less than 2 months. July 21st to be exact. We are so happy for them and May God bless them with love and happiness. We all had such a wonderful time and they got lots of great things. I am upset that I didnt get pictures of the food and drinks. We went with a Southern Rustic theme. We served Sweet Tea amd Lemon water out of mason jars. For the food we served pulled pork with rolls, Chicken salad and crossants, baked beans, potatoe salad, corn dip, 7 layer dip, salsa, cheese dip, chips, then we had a chocolate fountain with fruit and smores, we also had red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry cupcakes.

Farm Friday

Any guesses what this plant is?     Soybeans

a few left over corn seeds was left in the planter and the Farmer cant have that

Thank goodness we have some free labor that wanted to help

Now this is my favorite part about going to the field, the nice and very cold well water. MY kids also love playing in it as well I think they get that from their Momma. The farmer not so much...poly pipe and water means to him that is is HOT and no rain.

I'm taking note this year and have picked out some end rows to make a garden on next year. The best part...I wouldn't even have to water it due to the poly pipe. YES! When the farmer turn on the water well to water his field it would water my garden too. Then all I would have to do is worry about my herb garden in my pots. *Winning*

Dirty Little Secret

I have to confess of a dirty little secret I have been hiding:
When I am lazy or in a big hurry {most time Laziness} and my oily hair needs a washing I will use OSiS by Schwarzkopf Dust and it looks like I did! Okay. I hope you’re all still with me. It seems only logical to use this product when your hair is dirty, right? Well, I apply it even when my hair is clean! Maybe too obsessed? I beg to differ. I’ve noticed when I apply this product to clean roots, then any oil that may sneak in later gets soaked up by the powder that’s already waiting its arrival. Booyah! That oil won’t even know what hit it. Obviously, you also want to apply it between washes when your hair isn’t looking it’s hottest.

Sprinkle. Rub. Comb. Now go wild!

Schwartzkopf’s “Dust It” is my new favorite voluming product that allows you to do pretty much whatever you want to your otherwise boring and lifeless hair.

What is It? The answer to every girl’s dream; guys, you would love the versatility of this product as well! “Dust it” is a mattifying powder that adds texture and volume to the hair. It’s ultra lightweight, and once sprinkled in, it provides movement, separation, and volume to all hair types. You can lift, separate, and tease as you like and if you want a stronger hold, just keep on adding more product as you go!  When applied it “masks” existing oil that’s already on your hair by giving it a matte appearance. Here’s the kicker! You ready? It’s not taking AWAY the oil itself, just the sheen oil gives. So that fooled oil factory never gets the memo to produce MORE oil. See? Your hair is staying naturally moisturized by the oil but looks clean

How to Use It: Lightly sprinkle the powder on dry hair or into the palms of your hands, rub together, and then comb through your hair with your fingers. I like to section out my hair with a comb, and tap powder throughout the sections. If you want to use “Dust It” for volume, sprinkle it on the roots of your crown. Massage the product into your hair, then pull the root of the hair upwards (this will give your hair more volume if it’s flat, or separation if it’s short and layered).

Pros: *Great to use if your hair is dirty or greasy. The matte powder absorbs extra oil residue and will give the hair a more clean finish.

*Has a light hold. It doesn’t dry hard like a gel, but it’s nice because throughout the day, you can lift and mold the hair without the product getting sticky or flaky.

* The bottle is small, so you can take it wherever you go! When I say wherever, ladies- it’s so tiny you can fit it in your clutch for a girl’s night out. No one likes boring, flat hair!

* “Dust It” will not rob your pockets. The average price is $22, at most retail locations. Although the bottle is small, you need very little to get your desired result, so this will last you a long time.

Cons: *Brunettes Beware: This white powder may show up in your hair if not rubbed in properly. Make sure you really massage it in, so that the product can be absorbed into the hair in order for it to blend properly. Also is has a different feel cant really describe it but is fine with me. At first it took me getting used to but not bad.

***They also make a Dust it Dry Shampoo if that's more your thing.***
I haven't tried it yet

What, really?

I'm in love with Mary Bs biscuits because they taste exactly like the ones from scratch and lets face it
I don't have the time or want to make them. This is so easy and so good so why not. I know the price of everything is going up but taking it to a while new level by jipping me is just ludicrous! I only got 9 biscuits in a bag of 10 :{

The girls came walking by dressed like this and I asked what are yal doing they said they were playing Mom...what? I dont dress like that well yes those are my boots but the other is a swim suit cover. I had to take them down a notch. What were they thinking?

The backhoe man came and piled up these rocks to block the water so we could hold it in to pump to the fields.

I think he might have missed a spot and now we have a beautiful rock waterfall. The kids and I love it but the farmer not so much. I think we should leave it and let it be.
How can I not mention
I have been seeing people rave over an over for 50 shades of grey and with everyone saying all these great things about how they cant put it down or they read all of them and now what are they going to do or simply reading it again. I knew I had to read it. So unlike myself I go into this blind not reading the reviews or few pages on Amazom. I just download it to kindle ipad app and begin reading once I got to page 115 or so and HolyMoly I was in...well I don't know how to describe it I felt like I shouldn't be reading it but I couldn't put it down either. So I did what I always do when I have a good book keep on keeping on and page by page I was into it more and more and it just builds you up in this intense mystery. Believe it or not I finished it in one day now I'm on book 2. If this does make into a movie please Channing Tatum be Christian Grey. I don't need pale skinny Twilight dude so not hot but Channing oh yes Channing or Paul Walker. I mean I'm just saying
